Frequently asked questions

How do I file capital gains tax in Serbia?

The capital gains tax return is filed with the Serbian Tax Administration on form PPDG-3R, generally within 30 days of earning income from the sale of securities, shares or real estate. We prepare and file the return for you and keep track of all deadlines.

How is tax on shares calculated?

Tax on shares is paid on the capital gain, i.e. the difference between the sale and purchase price. The capital gains tax rate in Serbia is 15%. We analyze all your transactions with domestic and international brokers and determine the exact tax base.

Do I have to pay tax on dividends?

Yes. Tax on dividends is generally calculated at a rate of 15%. If dividends are paid by a foreign broker or company, you are often required to report the income in Serbia yourself. We help you correctly report dividend tax and avoid double taxation.

Do you file taxes for income from foreign brokers (Interactive Brokers, eToro, etc.)?

Yes. We specialize in filing capital gains and dividend tax earned with domestic and international brokers. Just send us your transaction report and we handle the rest.
